Role Summary:
TraxNYC is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Control Associate for our Shipping Department. This role ensures all products meet our high-quality standards before they are shipped to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury jewelry environment.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect and verify the quality of jewelry items prior to packaging, ensuring all items meet company standards.
- Identify and document any defects or discrepancies and report them to the production team.
- Conduct thorough checks on custom orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Shipping Preparation:
- Ensure products are packaged securely and professionally to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify that all orders are complete and match customer specifications.
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation.
Inventory Coordination:
- Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor and report any issues related to inventory discrepancies.
Process Improvement:
- Work with the shipping and production teams to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Provide feedback to enhance the overall efficiency and accuracy of operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in quality control, shipping, or a similar role is preferred, especially in the luxury or jewelry industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic proficiency with computers; experience with inventory or shipping software is a plus.
- A passion for high-quality craftsmanship and luxury goods.
