A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking a new Salesforce QA Analyst to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: Long -term
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating the functionality, quality and performance of Salesforce applications and customizations
- Executing functional, integration, performance, security, and regression testing
- Check accuracy in Reports and Dashboards to reflect real-time data
- Conducting Integration Testing to ensure smooth data flow between Salesforce and external systems
- Working as part of cross functional, passionate Agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
- Translating functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps
- Conducting exploratory testing and executing test functional plans manually
- Creation and maintenance of test data, tools and scripts
- Identifying issues, risks and dependencies escalating and managing where appropriate
- Reporting bugs and errors to development teams
- Working with Automation Engineers to ensure proper Smoke, Regression test suites are built and create required Test Cycle Summary and additional reporting
Qualifications:
- 5 years of overall Testing experience as a QA Engineer supporting enterprise web applications
- 3 years of experience in UI and API testing Lightning Salesforce applications
- Solid understanding of Salesforce, SFDC Architecture and concepts
- Experience with Salesforce Inquiry Management, Deal Management, Profile and Permissions, SF Chat, SF Batch Processes, MCAE Tool, Prospect and Email Marketing, Automation rules
- Experience with Salesforce Workflow Transformation (WFT), Salesforce Reports testing
- Experience with PardotCertification - Salesforce Admin / Platform Developer
- Proven experience in writing and executing manual test cases (functional, end to end, integration, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of SDLC, QA processes in an Agile delivery environment
- Excellent working knowledge of testing fundamentals and test case design techniques
- Proficient with Bug Tracking and Test Management tools (Zephyr for JIRA) to support development processes
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
- CTFL, ISTQB, CSQA or CSTE certified
- Experience with test automation frameworks like AccelQ
- Cross-Browser/Mobile device testing using tools such as Sauce Labs/Test Objects, Browser stack or any similar cloud platform
