Overall Function:
The Operations Manager oversees both the administrative and daily operations of a sales driven retail company, providing leadership and direction to the brand while supporting cabi’s core business. The Operations Manager should be highly motivated and experienced, with the ability to lead and optimize operations, drive process improvements, and ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity across our teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recruits, hires, and trains qualified store managers and assists store teams in fulfilling their hiring needs.
· Maximizes field productivity and profitability through timely monitoring of reports.
· Assist in the build out and setting up of new store locations.
· Available to travel to store locations with little notice, to states such as: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Oregon , Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
· Identifies, analyzes, and implements process improvements to streamline operations, reduces costs, and improves productivity and quality across all stores.
· Provides regular reports and updates to the Director of Stores on operational performance, progress, and challenges.
· Ensures that operations comply with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies, including health and safety regulations.
· Addresses operational challenges quickly and efficiently, resolving any issues related to workflow disruptions, employee concerns, or customer satisfaction.
· Maintains regular, reliable attendance.
· Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises Store Managers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the parent company’s (cabi) policies and applicable laws.
Pre-qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Business Manager or Operations Manager.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels.
· Advanced proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel.
· Prior experience training, coaching, and counseling store managers.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· In-depth knowledge of operational processes and best practices.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams.

Education and /or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
