We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Manufacturing Specialist to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality cabinets for residential and commercial projects.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Perform all relevant tasks involved in the cabinet installation process. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure duties are performed as efficient and safe as possible.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Cabinet Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for the installation of cabinetry components. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, blueprints ands specifications, ensuring precise measurements and cuts, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality control throughout the installation process.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in woodworking or cabinetry preferred.
ESSSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Measuring and Planning; taking precise measurements at the job site to ensure cabinet components fit properly and align with design plan.
- Reading blueprints or Layouts; Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications provided by designers or clients.
- Material selection; Identifying and selecting appropriate materials, tools, and hardware for each project.
- Installation; Mounting and securing cabinets to walls or other surfaces, ensuring they are level and properly aligned.
- Adjustments; making on-site adjustments or modifications to cabinets, such as cutting panels or re-sizing components.
- Finishing touches; Installing hardware, such as handles, hinges or knobs, as well as sealing and caulking edges as needed.
- Problem solving; addressing and resolving installation challenges or issues that arise during the job.
- Maintenance and repairs; performing repairs or touch-ups on existing cabinets as part of renovations or maintenance.
- Client communication; consulting with clients and contractors to ensure their needs are met and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Safety compliance; following safety protocols and ensuring work areas are tidy and hazard-free.

PAY: The pay for this position is up to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
