POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a Sales & Design Consultant to meet with homeowners, guide them through the design and remodeling process, and sell complete kitchen and bath remodeling packages. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for homes and design, and is ready to grow with a supportive, energetic team.
You'll be supported by a dedicated designer, trained on our systems, and backed by a project manager who handles everything after the sale. You’ll focus on connecting with clients, creating solutions, and closing sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide customers through the selection of cabinetry, countertops, and remodeling options
- Sell full-service kitchen and bathroom remodels, from cabinetry to structural and system updates
- Consult with clients in the showroom and at their homes to understand needs and measure spaces
- Use (or learn to use) ProKitchen design software with help from our in-house designer
- Submit orders, collect payments, and communicate key project details to our project manager
- Maintain excellent customer communication throughout the sales process
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Strong sales background
- Basic understanding of home remodeling, design, or construction process (we can teach more detailed concepts)
- Ability to build trust and guide clients through complex decisions
- Willingness to learn and follow a proven sales system
- Comfortable with accurately measuring spaces and construction math
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work on-site and travel locally to client homes
Preferred (but not required):
- Sales background with construction-related in-home goods or services
- Familiarity with remodeling concepts (structural, plumbing, electrical)
- Experience in kitchen or bath design
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans
