Job Description: As a Closet and Cabinet Sales and Designer you will be responsible for maintaining a client base of new and returning clients. Appointments are hybrid with in-home consultation and showroom appointments to meet the demands of our customers. You will measure the space and gather the desired goals and bring them to life in your designs. Collaborate with the customer and provide them a proposal of their designs for approval or revisions. You are responsible for updating your clients in the company CRM as necessary for the office and shop staff as well as working with the project and office managers for an easy flow of operations from your design to installation.
Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for closet and cabinet design
Create innovative and customized design solutions using design software
Present design concepts and proposals to clients, ensuring their satisfaction
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales and design process
Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution
Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to offer the best solutions to clients
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company
Requirements:
Proven experience in closet and cabinet sales and design
Strong knowledge of design principles and space planning
Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, or similar)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
Experience with custom closet and cabinet installations
Knowledge of current trends in home design and organization
