Job Summary:
Cable Dahmer Automotive is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Lube Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. You will work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring excellent customer service and vehicle safety. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other preventive maintenance services.
• Inspect vehicles for fluid levels, leaks, tire pressure, and wear patterns.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, and other minor maintenance components.
• Check and refill vehicle fluids such as coolant, transmission, brake, and washer fluid.
• Conduct visual inspections of belts, hoses, and undercarriage components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety guidelines.
• Properly document services performed and communicate any potential issues to service advisors.
• Assist in maintaining shop equipment and ensuring proper disposal of used fluids and materials.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering basic maintenance questions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a lube technician or in an automotive service role preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
