About Us
Cache River Creative Company is a growing division of Cache River Mill & MetalWorks, based in North Little Rock, AR. We specialize in custom promotional products using cutting-edge UV printing, laser engraving, 3D printing, and embroidery. We recently added a Tajima TMEZ-KC 6-head stretch embroidery machine to our production floor and are looking for a skilled operator to help take our embroidery operation to the next level.
Position Summary
We are hiring a full-time Embroidery Machine Operator to run our Tajima TMEZ-KC machine. This person will be responsible for setup, operation, maintenance, and quality control on multi-head embroidery runs. Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial embroidery machines, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to meet production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Tajima TMEZ-KC 6-head stretch embroidery machine
- Set up and run embroidery jobs on hats, apparel, and promotional items
- Load hoops, apply stabilizers, change threads, and maintain consistent stitching quality
- Read and execute embroidery files (.DST) and ensure proper placement and sizing
- Monitor and troubleshoot machine performance (tension, alignment, thread breaks, etc.)
- Trim, inspect, and package finished items
- Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with the design and production team to meet client expectations and deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating Tajima or similar embroidery machines required
- Ability to work efficiently on multi-head setups and meet production targets
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Familiarity with embroidery software and file types (.DST)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with Pulse, Wilcom, or other digitizing software
- Experience with promotional product production
