We are seeking a Branding and Business Development Director to promote and showcase our identity. This critical role will define how clients, contractors, job seekers, and industry stakeholders perceive our expertise, reliability, and innovation. Blending strategic branding, business development acumen, and event management expertise, the Director will ensure our brand resonates powerfully within the industry while driving measurable growth and engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Management
· Craft and implement brand strategies that position the company as an industry leader, emphasizing quality, safety, and innovation
· Establish and refine brand guidelines (e.g., tone, visual identity, messaging) to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including proposals, project deliverables, and marketing materials
· Partner with marketing and project teams to develop compelling branded content and campaigns that highlight completed projects, technical capabilities, and client success stories
· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover branding opportunities and distinguish our identity in the industry
· Oversee relationships with internal marketing staff and external partners (e.g., trade publications) to produce high-impact branding materials
· Measure brand performance using KPIs such as client satisfaction, industry reputation, and lead generation
· Direct the creation of branded assets, including logos, promotional items, website content, and recruitment materials.
· Stay ahead of industry trends—such as technological advancements and sustainable practices—to keep our brand progressive and relevant
Business Development and Event Management
· Spearhead customer engagement events to deepen relationships and showcase capabilities
· Design event schedules, timelines, and budgets that align with strategic company objectives and client needs
· Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to produce event content that spotlights projects, innovations, and service offerings
· Target and engage key stakeholders—clients, prospective customers, owners, general contractors, industry influencers, and job seekers—to maximize partnerships, engagement, and talent acquisition
· Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and setup of demonstrations or displays, ensuring seamless execution in field-based or office settings
· Lead career fair initiatives, overseeing booth design, swag creation, internship promotion, and on-site candidate interactions to position the company as a top employer
· Promote events through digital platforms, email campaigns, and industry networks to drive attendance and visibility
· Act as the primary event liaison, ensuring flawless delivery and resolving issues in real-time to provide exceptional attendee experiences
· Gather post-event feedback via surveys or discussions to assess impact and refine future initiatives
· Curate an annual calendar of industry events and career fairs, recommending participation to amplify our presence and talent pipeline
· Track and report event metrics (e.g., attendance, leads, client satisfaction) to demonstrate ROI
· Build and foster enduring relationships with owners and general contractors to create collaboration, secure repeat business, and strengthen project pipelines
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
· 5 years of experience in branding, business development, or marketing, ideally within construction or a technical industry
· Proficiency with digital tools like LinkedIn for branding and networking
· Proven success in crafting brand identities and executing campaigns that enhance recognition and trust
· Solid grasp of design principles and experience with construction-related visuals (e.g., blueprints, equipment imagery)
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, or similar tools is a plus
· Exceptional communication and project management skills, with a track record of coordinating across technical, field, and creative teams
· Analytical ability to evaluate branding and event impacts on business growth and client relationships
· Creative flair for transforming technical expertise into engaging brand narratives
· Hands-on, results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Expertise in event management platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) and Microsoft Office Suite
· Flexibility to work evenings or weekends and travel as needed for events
· Detail-oriented problem solver capable of delivering polished, professional experiences
· Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for managing client and contractor interactions
· Knowledge of construction-site safety protocols and event regulations
