Beginner Recreational Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and coaching.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the skill levels of participants.
- Educate athletes on techniques, rules, and strategies of their respective sports.
- Provide guidance and support during practices.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among participants.
- Monitor the safety of all participants during activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Organize and lead drills that enhance physical fitness and sport-specific skills.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and personal growth.

Experience
- Previous experience in coaching or teaching sports is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in childcare or working with children are advantageous for creating a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in one or more sports such as basketball, martial arts (including judo and karate), swimming, or climbing is highly desirable.
- A background in lifeguarding is a plus for roles involving aquatic activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes are essential.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
