Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining or nightclub settings, showcasing exceptional guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience by providing attentive service, upselling menu items, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered accurately.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or nightclub environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Proven upselling abilities to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest relations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
