The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled eLearning Developer with expertise in developing interactive, lifelike, scenario-based training. This position involves the end-to-end creation of eLearning products including troubleshooting scenarios, user interface simulations, and branching logic-based learning paths for technical systems training. The ideal candidate will be fluent in using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, TechSmith Camtasia, Blender, and Unity to create immersive and engaging training content. Additionally, experience with Moodle LMS, web-based training delivery, and technical writing for system documentation is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging eLearning modules using Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline with a focus on branching scenarios and user decision-making.
- Produce video tutorials and software simulations with TechSmith Camtasia, including voiceovers, callouts, and transitions.
- Build 3D models and animations in Blender to visually represent hardware systems and workflows.
- Develop interactive simulations and troubleshooting environments using Unity, mimicking real-world systems and interfaces.
- Integrate eLearning content into Moodle LMS, ensuring SCORM/xAPI compatibility and proper learner tracking/reporting.
- Create clean, functional web pages to host training content or serve as learner portals.
- Write clear, concise, and technically accurate training materials, user guides, and scenario scripts that complement simulation content.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), designers, and developers to transform system specifications and procedures into learner-friendly modules.
- Test and debug eLearning content across various platforms, browsers, and devices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3 years of professional experience in eLearning or simulation-based training development.
- Strong proficiency in: o Adobe Captivate (12.5 preferred) o Articulate Storyline o TechSmith Camtasia o Blender (for 3D modeling and animation) o Unity (for interactive scenario development) o Moodle LMS (for content integration, SCORM/xAPI deployment, and learner tracking)
- Solid understanding of branching logic, scenario-based learning, and user-centered instructional design.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for basic web design and layout.
- Excellent technical writing skills, especially in developing clear and usable documentation, guides, and scripts.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.
Desired:
- Experience creating technical systems training or equipment troubleshooting simulators.
- Background in UI/UX design or interface prototyping.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), JavaScript, or other web-based scripting.
- Experience working with offline/SCORM-compliant content delivery.
- TS/SCI Clearance or ability to obtain one.
