  • Positions are contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

Junior level –

  • Assist in directing financial management and administrative activities within assigned projects.

  • Supports budgeting processes, manpower planning, and resource allocation under guidance from senior team members.

  • Help prepare financial reports and contribute to the analysis of project performance.

  • Participate in evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual issues.

  • Assist in developing work breakdown structures and use charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to analyze problems.

  • Contribute to the preparation of detailed reports and recommendations for solutions to project challenges.

  • Support daily supervision and guidance to project staff as directed by senior team members.

  • Learn and apply project control best practices and CACI's standard procedures.


Intermediate level –

  • Directs all financial management and administrative activities within assigned projects.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, including manpower and resource planning.

  • Prepares and delivers comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders.

  • Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual issues.

  • Provides detailed recommendations and reports for process improvements and problem resolution.

  • Develop and maintain work breakdown structures for projects.

  • Utilizes charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to analyze and communicate project-related problems and solutions.

  • Provide daily supervision and guidance to project control staff.

  • Ensures compliance with contract requirements and company policies.


Senior –

  • Directs all financial management and administrative activities within assigned projects.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, manpower planning, resource allocation, and financial reporting.

  • Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual issues.

  • Provide detailed recommendations and reports for process improvements and problem resolution.

  • Develop and maintain work breakdown structures for projects.

  • Create and utilize charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to analyze and communicate complex project information.

  • Provide daily supervision and guidance to project control staff. Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies.

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align financial strategies with project goals.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.


Subject Matter Expert/SME –

  • Direct all financial management and administrative activities within projects, including budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting.

  • Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems related to management problems or contractual issues.

  • Develop and present detailed recommendations and reports for solutions to complex project management challenges.

  • Create and maintain work breakdown structures, utilizing advanced charting, graphing, and diagramming techniques to analyze and communicate complex problems.

  • Provide daily supervision and guidance to project control staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Design and implement strategies for optimizing project financial performance and resource utilization.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with senior management and clients on matters related to project financial control and performance.

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative project control methodologies and tools.


Qualifications:

Required:

Junior –

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • 0-3 years of experience in project control, financial management, or related roles.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting concepts.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


Intermediate –

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • 3-8 years of experience in project control or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and resource planning.

  • Experience with work breakdown structures and project scheduling tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities


Senior –

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • 8-11 years of experience in project control, financial management, or related roles.

  • Strong proficiency in project management and financial analysis tools.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software.

  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities


SME –

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • 12 years of progressive experience in project control and financial management.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects with significant budgets.

  • Expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies and financial control techniques.

  • Comprehensive understanding of government contracting and related financial regulations.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor project control teams.

  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills



Desired:

Junior –

  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).

  • Basic understanding of earned value management (EVM) concepts.

  • Knowledge of government contracting processes.

  • Experience with data visualization tools. Interest in continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Pursuit of relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, Associate's Certificate in Project Management).


Intermediate –

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).

  • Knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations.

  • Familiarity with risk management and mitigation strategies.

  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization.

  • Experience in a government contracting environment


Senior –

  • PMP or other relevant project management certification.

  • Experience with earned value management (EVM) techniques.

  • Familiarity with government contracting and FAR/DFAR regulations.

  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Strong presentation skills for executive-level reporting


SME –

  • Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) and financial management (e.g., CPA, CMA).

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and project management software.

  • Expertise in earned value management (EVM) techniques.

  • Knowledge of agile project management methodologies and their financial implications.

  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools for project performance analysis.

  • Familiarity with government contracting regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS).

  • Track record of successful implementation of process improvements in project control

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
