Job Description:
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer - SME to focus on access management and network security, leveraging CyberArk, CA PAM, and Thales.
The IAM Engineer - SME should feel comfortable not only setting expectations for the team but assisting with escalations and onsite tasks as they arise. In this role you will collaborate with IAM engineers in the management and optimization of IAM solutions, working to define, develop, and manage strategies that reduce risk and improves resiliency.
Responsibilities:
The IAM Engineer - SME will:
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for access management and network security solutions, with a focus on CyberArk, CA PAM, and Thales technologies
• Design, implement, and maintain robust access management and network security architectures
• Document and map the architecture of current access management and network security infrastructure and provide inputs into the development of the security engineering roadmap for future improvements.
• Develop security policies and procedures related to access control and network security, monitor procedures and recommend improvements where needed
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of access management systems and network infrastructure and recommend improvements where needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture through automation
• Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements or additions.
• Serve as the team’s point of contact for Identity Access Management and Network Security tool operation and management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ability to attain DHS EOD
• ITIL V4 Foundations certification (or obtain in first 6 months)
• MS or equivalent 10 years of experience
• Significant experience in cybersecurity, with strong hands-on experience in access management and network security
• Significant expertise in CA PAM solutions
• Strong knowledge of Thales security products, particularly in the areas of encryption and key management
• In-depth understanding of network security principles, protocols, and best practices
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts and technologies
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and integration
• 8 or more years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT support
• Experience working with and guiding technicians with varying skill levels and supporting end users remotely
• Experience with security tools and technologies, like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing security workflows
• Professional, customer-oriented, and even-keeled under pressure
• Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal
Desired:
• CyberArk Defended, Sentry, and/or Guardian certifications
• CA Privileged Access Manager 2.x Implementation Proven Professional certification
• Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics in security contexts
• Security , CEH, GPEN, OSEP, etc.
• Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
