The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Journeyman Release Manager for the provision of IT services under the SCITLS contract supporting USSTRATCOM. You will track and document all releases with special attention to bug resolution efforts and trends, while highlighting positive/negative trends for future release practices. Additionally, you will derive test plans from stakeholder input and communicates the details effectively to development and operational IT teams and identify and report on risks and opportunities for improvement. Your expertise will be vital in regulating the change process, ensuring only approved and validated changes are incorporated into configuration items. This role offers the opportunity to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems while collaborating closely with the ITSMO and change management teams, directly contributing to the stability and efficiency of the IT environment.
This position supports U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska, and is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Release Manager, Journeyman:
Identifies and implements approach for providing and ensuring quality throughout solutions to meet the requirements of the TO
Develops, implements, updates, and monitors Release Management processes for integrating approved changes
Ensures technical/non-technical aspects of release are taken into consideration in designing, engineering, and integrating all hardware/software releases
Performs the release of approved software, hardware, policy, and procedural changes
Socializes technology changes impacting end users, focusing on benefits and expectations through the use of various technologies
Tracks and documents bug resolution efforts and trends, while highlighting positive/negative trends for future release practices
Derives test plans from stakeholder input and communicates the details effectively to development and operational IT teams
Identifies and reports on risks and opportunities for improvement
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in science (BS) or a bachelor’s degree in arts (BA)
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience
ITIL 4 Foundation or Agile certification (such as Certified ScrumMaster, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or Certified Agile Service Manager )
Desired:
ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support (CDS)
