Job Description:
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Test Engineer with knowledge of Army tactical communication systems to assist with testing operations at PM MC facilities at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will design test architecture, create test plans, execute test, troubleshoot and document issues discovered during testing.
Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise-level engineering support to configure, modify, and operate tactical communication systems to include software installation, network configuration, and system administration.
Support test design.
Translate system requirements into test cases.
Perform test analysis on complex project requirements.
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation to support various stages of testing for all initial and updated increments/releases and components of systems.
Perform expert-level troubleshooting and resolve complex issues identified in testing.
Provide technical support and knowledge for troubleshooting and research of Test Incident Reports (TIRs) discussed at the Data Authentication Group (DAG) and resolved, and adjudicated at the Executive Scoring Committee (ESC).
Execute day-to-day system support associated with testing activities.
Assist with evaluation of IA/Cyber fixes, architecture changes, and technical bulletin (TB) verifications.
Correct soft ware installation documentation as architecture setup is worked through in support of testing.
Produce Test Reports.
Provide documentation of any technical support actions taken on test floor while testing is underway (observation reports).
Report test issues and risks to the Test Lead and Product Office for visibility.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active DOD secret security clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and at least 7 years of experience OR no degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Army tactical communication systems.
Experience in the design of test suites.
Ability to operate Army tactical communications systems as required independently.
Desired:
BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems Engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of the PM MC system portfolio, especially TSI, MMC, Radios and Dismounted systems
CompTIA Security highly desired
Knowledge of TAK highly desired
Knowledge of Elasticsearch and/or Tactical Data Platforms
