Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.
-Responsible for the tasks that are assigned by the Steward Supervisor and Executive Steward.-Coordinate materials and equipment to maintain cleanliness/sanitation of workstation and communicate problems/concerns to supervisor or kitchen management.-This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift including working in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping and reaching overhead.-Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products.-Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.-Insure the cleanliness of all floors, walls, dishes, pots, etc.-Insure “Wet Floor” signs and other markers are used.-Make sure kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job (gloves, goggles, chemicals, etc.).-Ensure that all equipment functions properly.-Maintain the levels and standards of cleanliness and safety set by Cactus Petes Casino and the Health Department.
