Brief Summary of the Position:
A player/coach who leads the strategy team while handling 2 flagship clients. Sets the ambition and charts the course for the brands they lead. They hold senior-level client relationships and drive the business forward through proactive, high-level thinking. They manage a diverse team of strategists while partnering across departments to ensure that no opportunity goes un-explored. They are the day-to-day partner of the CD’s/ECD’s on their accounts and are the visionaries behind the long-term transformation of their brands. They are fearless in their ambition to make great work, change culture and grow their businesses through the power of innovative thinking and creative solutions.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Serves as a trusted advisor to senior-level clients and internal team members.
· Acts as an agency leader and ambassador.
· Is a champion of and owner of our Belief & Behavior Design approach and philosophy, working to evolve and elevate this practice, internally, with clients and the industry.
· Serves as the voice and vision for the long-term evolution of our clients’ businesses and brands, while overseeing and contributing to the day-to-day.
· Sets business and brand objectives to measure the work against; regularly checks in with clients to ensure effectiveness.
· Supervises creative brief development, accountable for strategic output quality.
· Collaborates with creative leaders to set the high-level creative strategy for the brands.
· Excellent writer who turns insights/decks into stories worth hearing.
· Outstanding presenter who leaves the room wanting more.
· Manages all strategy workflow and mentors Strategists and Strategy Directors.
· Leads development of agency and departmental thought leadership output.
· Takes a lead role in all agency new business efforts.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree or real-world experience/training in journalism, advertising, psychology, marketing or other relevant field
· 10 years of strategy experience in an advertising agency
