Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Roofing Technician to join our team as our first key hire. This individual will play a critical role in the success of our company by overseeing installations, repairs, and maintenance across various roofing systems. The ideal candidate has deep roofing knowledge, strong communication skills, the ability to leverage modern technology, and a relentless drive to get the job done right.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute residential roofing installations, repairs, and inspections.
- Work with asphalt shingles, metal, flat roofs, and other roofing systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, crew members, and management.
- Utilize technology (CRM systems, estimating software, drone inspections, etc.) to improve efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot roofing issues efficiently.
- Train and mentor future team members as the company grows.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in residential roofing, with expertise in multiple roofing systems.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn digital tools (CRM, mobile apps, measurement software).
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to seeing projects through to completion.
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
