Cadance Group seeks an innovative, future-focused Records Information Manager is a key member of the records management team responsible for providing technical and operational support in records or docket management activities. This role ensures high-quality service delivery in maintaining records, managing data, and using automated information systems. The RIM may also oversee junior staff and contribute to planning and development efforts related to records and information services. The successful candidate will be recruited promptly in accordance with staffing timelines—ensuring no position remains unfilled for more than 30 days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical and administrative support in records and docket management operations.
- Respond to inquiries and maintain accurate records systems.
- Perform records collection maintenance and retrieval.
- Conduct metadata review and data input to ensure information integrity.
- Support the design and implementation of records management strategies to address ongoing needs.
- Operate and maintain automated information systems.
- Assist in identifying and resolving records management challenges.
- Collaborate with and provide support on program planning and strategy.
- May supervise and mentor junior staff involved in records operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and federal records management guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on records activities and issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in records management.
- Hands-on experience with at least one automated information system.
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of records management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with docket systems and metadata standards.
- Excellent organizational and data management skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems related to records or docket management.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, particularly in recruiting or onboarding roles with time-sensitive mandates.
