ResponsibilitiesAct as back up for resident admissions process (pre admission/admission paperwork)Verify perspective resident insurance and payer information as directedComplete Resident Admission paperwork, obtain needed signatures and documents as neededProvide information to resident/family regarding Medicare/Medicaid, the LTC stay, costs and regulationsWork with the Corporate office with pre admission financial approval from all referralsDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and assist with managed care referral processRequirementsAt least 1 year of experience working with insurance companies and insurance verification preferredPrevious long term care experience is preferred,Experience with MS Word, Excel and various automated health information systems, is requiredWhat You Will Do
