Job Description:
We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our sales force, you’ll be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals to help customers transition to solar energy. Your role will be crucial in expanding our customer base and promoting the benefits of renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and follow up on leads through networking, cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and community events.
- Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess customer energy needs and provide tailored solar solutions.
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including system designs, financing options, and ROI calculations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact to post-installation.
- Collaborate with the installation and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, solar technology, and local/state incentives to provide accurate information to customers.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems and financing options (training provided).
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Passion for sustainability and renewable energy.
