Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the systems and networks that makes our business function while adhering to the regulatory requirements of the gaming business.
- Responsible for the implementation of goals and plans as related to both the IT department and the business.
- Coaches, motivates, and professionally develops non-technical staff by designing, implementing, scheduling and tracking individualized training programs.
- Interfaces and consults with other managers within the organization to coordinate activities.
- Promotes teamwork and cooperation.
- Participates in project review, development, and implementation process.
- Reviews new and updated processes and produces as required.
- Provides management reporting.
- Establishes and maintains client or vendor relationships as needed.
- Ensures helpdesk requests are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a South Dakota Gaming License.
- 2 to 6 years experience as a technician or technical leader with a demonstrated ability of successful leadership skills.
- Experience with networking concepts (Routing, VLANS, TCP-IP)
- Experience with both Desktop and Server Operating systems. Microsoft Windows 7, 10, 2008, 2012.
- Comfortable working with Surveillance, VoIP, and AV Systems.
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated competency in resolving diverse and complex business and IT related problems.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude in a range of technical expertise.
