Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions, and monitoring progress to ensure sustained success. Your contributions will directly impact our company's bottom line and help us improve our Manufacturing Excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate corrective and preventive actions to address production bottlenecks and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, USDA and Safety, to develop and sustain efficient processes.
- Standardize and document operational processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Train and coach employees on principles, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Develop and maintain standardized production procedures and work instructions, ensuring they evolve as the business grows.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and sustainable results.
- Evaluating and prioritizing potential improvements based on gains and required effort.
- Regularly communicate project progress and concerns, promptly identifying issues that may impact completion.
- Create and manage dashboards to track progress, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and communicate outcomes.
- Presents, facilitates and leads assigned process improvement events (Kaizen).
- Train and develop staff competencies in basic and advanced problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-organizational manufacturing leadership to ensure alignment and support for initiatives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging people in improving the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations is preferred.
- 2- 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
- Kaizen Training preferred.
Compensation:
Caerus Corp provides the following information about compensation for this position:
- Salary Range: $75,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year.

The salary range is based on several factors which will vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include but not limited to education, work experience, scope and responsibilities of position and geographic location.
