Overview
At CAES Mission Systems Lansdale the Senior Business Intelligence Scientist improves the organization's path to decision making, through the use of data analytics, data visualization and data modeling techniques and technologies. The Business Operations Analyst will use these tools and concepts to identify trends that can help other departments, managers and executives make business decisions based on validated data. Additionally this newly-created role is central to modernizing and improving data-related processes in the organization, as well as getting the most effectivity from its business systems.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
- Develop and enhance data models for key business information
- Constructs forecasts, reports, recommendations and strategic / tactical plans based on business data
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical program specifications and actionable stories within reasonable time estimates
- Create and maintain documentation and procedures for data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
- Develops capabilities for users to quickly identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences

Salary Range : $126,121 - $178,052annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
