Responsibilities :
In this role, you perform a wide variety of assembly operations, creating precision electro-mechanical or electronic assemblies. Wire bonding experience is highly sought after in this role, but not required.
- Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, routers, and process sheets using the appropriate tools and machinery
- Assemble using solder, fasteners and adhesives in building up electronic assemblies, ensuring compliance to requirements and performing rework as required
- Assembly operations can include : wire termination, installation of wire harnesses, cable assemblies, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components
- Wire and ribbon bonding uses assorted sizes of gold wire and ribbon
