CAES Mission Systems, Woburn, MA is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join their Team. Responsibilities
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consolidation, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting efforts for three sites within the Mission Systems business unit
- Support month end close by collaborating with program finance to consolidate monthly forecast
- Work closely with a team of analysts to support cash forecasting and indirect rates analysis
- Build, cultivate, and maintain cross-functional partnerships while streamlining finance business processes and procedures with Program Management, Contracts, Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering
- Various ad hoc analysis
HOW TO SUCCEED
Minimum
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 1 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
- Experience with an ERP system
- Microsoft Office proficiency and Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Program Managers and across other functional areas
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Previous Defense Industry experience
- Familiarity with IFS, SAP
- Previous experience with financial statements forecasting (income statements, balance sheet, etc.,)
- Independent self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
