Summary of duties
- In Room Dining Server is directly responsible for servicing and overseeing the all in-room dining of the rooms and suites within the NOBU Hotel
- In Room Dining Server is responsible in taking the order for In-Room Dining
- In Room Dining Server is responsible for day to day operation and is to liaise with the necessary departments to ensure that all necessary activities are executed to ensure total satisfaction of the guests and clients
- Responsible for implementing and executing NOBU Service standards.
- In Room Dining Server is responsible for checking the rooms and suites constantly and is to report all issues to management immediately, and is to follow up where necessary
- In Room Dining Server is to deliver, prepare, set and clear out food and beverage requirements as requested by guests and management
- In Room Dining Server is to refresh mini bar, amenities and in-room dining as requested
- In Room Dining Server is to pick-up handle and delivery guest laundry per guest request
- Provide all levels of In Room Dining Server Services as defined
- Take full responsibility for all guest experiences
- Review, Set and Maintain appropriate amenities, mini-bar and in-room dining for all guests in the NOBU Hotel
- Key person to welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure
- Responsible for collecting, communicating and maintaining highest quality of guest preferences and implementing guest recognition program
- Maintains and provides proper etiquette and manners adhering to international culture sensitivity, especially to international VIP guests
- Delivers food and beverage orders and serves all items according to NOBU standards, checks for satisfaction and ensure proper clean up and follow up after meal
- Provides and improves on In Room Dining Server skills that include in-room table side service, bar tendering (mixology), household management like unpacking and valet services
- Plans, organizes and serves VIP parties and hospitality events and coordinates closely with event organizer – must be able to make suggestions based on menu and preferences
- Ensures grooming is constantly up to hotel standards and adjusts immediately when necessary
- To perform duties assigned by the management of NOBU Hotel
- To monitor and pro-actively plan ahead for VIP arrivals on following days/weeks to ensure highest guest satisfaction
- Ensure Guest information is shared with all Associates at all times
- Prepare and clean all items associated with guest experience
- Run errands and or food & beverage required during service, this may include errands off property by utilizing hotel vehicles – a valid driver license is required
- Responsible for all side work, including but not limited to folding napkins, polishing glasses, polishing silverware and china
- Understanding and constant development in wine, liquors, food and the respective service of such
- Able to take complex food orders (with items from various outlets) and able to make recommendations during such process
- Ensure all amenities are set prior to arrival and amenities are displayed to standards of NOBU Hotel
- In Room Dining Server will provide room introductions to guests, explaining all amenities, technology, available services
- Follow up with all greeted guests as necessary
- In Room Dining Server is to refresh ice, amenities, etc daily
- In Room Dining Server is to replenish mini bar items as necessary
- Offers and provides in-room amenities available, such as various scents, pillows, etc

- Daily communication with limo team to successfully execute curbside greeting.
