Dining Room Assistant

Job Summary:

As a Food Runner/Server Assistant at Caesars Southern Indiana, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and the overall success of our restaurant. About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting servers with food and water delivery, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and interacting with guests to ensure their satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to effectively communicate with guests and provide recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and water to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Clean and reset tables in the dining room to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to effectively communicate with guests.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service and meet guest expectations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Must possess basic food knowledge and be able to learn and understand menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Environment:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move throughout the restaurant.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
