Key Responsibilities:
- Support servers by expediting food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Ensure that water glasses are full throughout the meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of daily menu offerings to effectively communicate with guests.
- Clean and reset dining room tables and booths after each use, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Complete pre-shift, during-shift, and post-shift side-work requirements as assigned.
- Manage the flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
- Understand performance expectations and consistently meet them.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Sitting and/or standing for extended periods (minimum four hours).
- Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to secondhand smoke, dust, and loud noises.
- Varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
