Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. A background in food safety and handling is preferred, as well as familiarity with point-of-sale systems like Aloha POS.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the register.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and food handling practices.
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
