Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role preferred, with knowledge of food preparation and culinary practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with banquet service is a plus, as well as experience in hotel dining settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- POS experience is desirable but not required; training will be provided.
