Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized and motivated Food Truck & Catering Manager to take charge of our food truck operations and event catering at Café Sol. This role involves managing the food truck’s day-to-day operations, coordinating catering events, and ensuring smooth service while maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Food Truck Operations:
- Oversee the daily operation of the Café Sol food truck, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
- Handle setup, prep, and breakdown of the food truck for service and events.
- Manage food inventory, ordering, and truck cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations.
✅ Catering & Events Management:
- Coordinate and execute catering orders, ensuring food is delivered and presented properly.
- Work with clients to customize catering menus based on their needs.
- Schedule and oversee food truck bookings for private and public events.
- Develop strong relationships with local event organizers and businesses.
✅ Leadership & Customer Service:
- Train and supervise food truck staff, ensuring top-tier service.
- Act as the point of contact during events, resolving issues as needed.
- Maintain excellent customer service and represent Café Sol professionally.
✅ Administrative & Financial Duties:
- Track sales, expenses, and labor costs to optimize profitability.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote the food truck and catering services.
- Coordinate scheduling and staffing for events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in food service management, catering, or food truck operations.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license (with a clean record) and ability to drive the food truck.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible hours depending on event bookings and food truck schedule.
- Pay based on experience, plus potential for bonuses/tips.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
