Café Verde is Hiring!!

We are looking for an immediate Part Time Budtender / Production Specialist to join our Grants Pass team.

Starting Pay is based on experience, and new hires should expect a 30-Day training period.

Café Verde is vertically integrated, growing our own flower locally here in Grants Pass to sell exclusively at our store. Having additional cannabis production experience is desired as we package in house flower at our dispensary.

All Budtenders are required to participate in production, packaging flower, inventory management and a verity of cleaning duty's. Applicants that are strong in these areas will be concerned for higher stating wages and excel quickly.

Current scheduling consists of a verity of day shifts as well as possible a possible weekend day or days that will require some flexibility to start. We are a small business and we rely on our employees to be reliable and forthcoming about availability to maintain a set schedule of approximately 4 - 6 hour shifts a week.

All applicants must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Permit or completion of OLCC application before applying. Any all applicants that have not completed this process will not be eligible for the interview process or considered.

Must-have Qualifications:

• 21 years of age
• Excellent Cannabis knowledge
• Customer service experience
• Register/cash handling experience
• Pass background check
• Able to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances while on shift.
• Ability to work nights – weekends, non-major holidays
• Able to communicate effectively

Typical Tender duties include:

• Checking and Verifying IDs
• Ringing up Sales
• Cash handling and Customer Service
• Flower packing and Inventory management of all products
• Restocking Product
• Deep and Light Cleaning
• Inventory Audits
• Pre-roll Production

Must have OLCC workers permit, paid for and completed to be considered for interview process. No expeditions!

If you do not have a worker permit visit - www.oregon.gov/olcc/marijuana/Pages/mjworkerpermit.aspx and complete the process to attain a permit before applying. The permit is required by law to work in the cannabis industry.

Applicants should have some relative experience in hospitality, retail, sales, or other areas of the recreational cannabis industry. Person’s with experience are preferred and will qualify for a higher starting wage. If you are lacking in experience, please indicate on a cover letter specifically to why you should still be considered.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
