SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Forklift Operator/Loader is to be responsible for unloading and loading beer loads and product movement and replenishment, as well as the daily maintenance of the building's facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely and accurately unload inbound product deliveries and receive into inventory.
- Utilize WMS system to locate, receive and move product.
- Assist in selection and loading of kegs in morning.
- Check in trucks and verify product return code accuracy.
- Clear dunnage from pick row and load dunnage returns to breweries following company and supplier guidelines and submit accurate paperwork to shift manager.
- Load trucks each night for outbound deliveries.
- Safely operate balers to compress cardboard and plastic and process completed bales properly.
- Maintain company standards of cleanliness in assigned areas on a daily basis.
- Fill pick row daily as needed, following product rotation guidelines.
- May be responsible for movement to storage of POS (point-of-sale) materials.
- Safely operates warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklift, baler, sweeper/scrubber, electric jack, wrapper, glue gun, and manual pallet jack.
- Process out of date, unsalable and close date product by warehouse procedures.
- Assists in morning check out process of trucks, loading and corrections.
- Follow all company safety rules and practices, including pre-work and post-work inspections.
- Handle customer pickups and hot shot orders.
- Always adhere to dress code and be properly attired and groomed.
- Obey all federal, state, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma desired, but not required; one year and up to 3 years related experience or training desired.
