Core Responsibilities:
- Make and receive calls, consistently following the company’s collections call model and techniques, speaking clearly and concisely and listening effectively.
- Assist customers with questions about their loans and negotiate the best possible payment arrangements based on each customer’s individual circumstances.
- Display professionalism, tact and empathy while speaking with customers.
- Make recommendations to litigate when necessary, while following all state and FDCPA standards.
- Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
- Accurately process check-by-phone and/or electronic payments.
- Perform in-depth skip tracing tasks to locate borrowers.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of subprime auto loan collections is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience skip tracing is required.
- Knowledge of FDCPA standards and state laws.
- Ability to maintain composure with difficult or irate customers.
- Ability to simultaneously take good notes while speaking with customers.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills – bilingual is a plus!
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Hours and Work Environment:
This is an onsite position at our office located in Scottsdale, AZ. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional Saturdays and/or overtime.
