Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our finance department and assist with various accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in accounting and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting duties such as preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with balance sheet and income statement reconciliation, as well as ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including the balance sheet and income statement.
- Analyze financial data and identify areas for cost savings and improvement.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Utilize financial software and accounting software to manage and track financial data.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and files.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial reports and statements.
- Provide support with financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Support Business Manager with overall managment duties by organizing meetings, schedules, contacts, phone calls, emails and other administrative tasks.
- Act as a liason between leadership team and employees to quickly identify and solve problems, foster better commnication, and support overall day-to-day operation.
Experience:
- Proven experience in an accounting or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of financial software and accounting software.
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with balance sheet and income statement reconciliation.
- Experience with tax preparation and financial document filing.
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Experience with technical accounting.
- Proficiency with financial software and accounting software.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
