Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning Analyst to support our Birmingham team. The ideal candidate will assist in the research, analysis, and preparation of financial plans that meet our clients' goals and needs. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This is a full-time, predominantly in-person position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of pre-meeting financial analyses and reports, including cash flow projections, portfolio reviews, etc.
- Gather and organize data from clients to aid in creating comprehensive financial plans
- Utilize planning software to model various financial scenarios and outcomes
- Collaborate with senior financial planners to develop tailored strategies for clients
- Provide support in client meetings by preparing meeting materials and taking detailed notes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and best practices
- Help ensure that all client documents and records are compliant with industry standards
- Assist in responding to client queries and providing necessary follow-up
