Hourly base pay rate is $19.38 - $29.09/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description
This position is responsible for parts ordering and providing administrative support for the Mechanic shop, learning/performing pre-sale and post-sale vehicle inspections. Optimal candidates also have a willingness to learn other auction related work areas such as ASE certification, photography, inspections, and check in of vehicles and comply with Auction safety rules and regulations.

What You’ll Do
Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and co-workers as needed.
Complete images, paperwork and condition reports as required.
Perform walk around of each vehicle prior to moving vehicle and note damage on Transportation request.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., driving vehicles through auction sale lanes on designated sale days.
If necessary, inflate tires and jump start vehicles using a battery box and air tank. Notify supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative, fill gas tank when vehicle is out of gas.

Minimum:
A high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field; or any degree/certification beyond high school and 1 year of experience; or 5 years of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Organizational skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs (e.g. tools, equipment)
Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
