Company: Cox Automotive - USA Job Family Group: Vehicle Operations Job Profile: Lead Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist Management Level: Individual Contributor Travel %: Yes, 5% of the time Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Job Description: Job Description This position coordinates the daily activities and personnel involved in the Retail Replenishment Center (RRC) operations to ensure the efficient, orderly and timely movement of vehicles to and from the Auction. Job Responsibilities: •Coordinate and direct the safe and efficient transportation of client vehicles to and from the Auction and other designated areas. •Manages the full FLOW of RRC vehicles. Needs to understand the new Vehicle Production Dashboard and their role in ensuring all client SLAs are achieved. •Responsible for monitoring Fast Track vehicles to ensure SLAs are achieved. •Ability to learn and manage vehicle damage claims •Work closely with the VE team on meeting SLAs around entering and processing claims. •Ability to effectively manage vehicle holds, statuses, and resolution •Ensures the proper Exercising of storage vehicles is completed. •Responsible for managing the receipt of and processing of labels. •Works with Lot Operations utilizing the new RRC tab in the Operations Control Center to ensure proper routing of vehicles. •Manages the outbound labeling and QC process. •Needs to understand and manage the telematics dashboards related to battery charge levels. •Determine outstanding pick-ups, compile data and generate transporter and account aging reports for the department manager. •Ensure proper loading and shipping, as well as the timely arrival of vehicles at their proper destinations. •Coordinate department activities to include Vehicle Entry, Inspections and Commercial. •Maintains communication with other departments and management team providing relevant information to coordinate activities of the department and ensure high quality of service to both internal and external customers. •Provide outstanding customer service and resolve problems. •Work with manager to review work volumes, plan and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement. •Effectively leads the team at the location by setting an example in behavior, championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect. •Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct. •Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. •Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: •High School Diploma or equivalent required. •7 years’ experience as an administrative and/or operational coordinator or any level degree or certification beyond a high school diploma and 5 years’ experience •Auction experience and knowledge of overall Auction functions preferred. •Strong communication and interaction skills required. • Excellent organizational skills required • Basic computer skills preferred. • Valid driver’s License and good driving record required. • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission. • Flexible work hours, as position requires occasional evening and weekend hours. • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
