Fleet Services, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring a Talent Development Specialist Intern to work in the Learning and Performance Solutions department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Rotate through four talent development functions (facilitation, content creation, graphic design, project management) with respect to our multi-week Mobile Tech orientation program
Assume the leadership/management of a quality improvement initiative from inception to conclusion
Assist with the migration of learning resources from SumTotal to Workday Learning via Learn@Cox (LMS)
Create and present a capstone project to propose ideas and solutions to senior leadership for improving internal processes, systems, and customer service
Engage with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technicians
Understand the overall concept of Fleet Services; including the brand, customers, and service goals
Learn elements of the Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, and our internal Learning Management System (LMS)
Requirements
Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in organizational training and development, Educational Technology, or a similar field with a preference for those entering their third or fourth year of post-secondary study
Experience with Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote) preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate preferred
Knowledge of ADDIE as an instructional design methodology to help organize and streamline the production of course content and the creation of learning solutions is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently between multiple priorities/projects
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a team environment
Obsessed about the learner experience
Possesses a Servant Leadership mindset
Mechanical inclination strongly preferred, either professional or enthusiast competency
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
Office Environment
Position is located near the Fleet Services home office at 4709 West 96th Street, Indianapolis with some remote work possible
Intern will be embedded within the highly energetic, diversely talented Learning and Performance Solutions team
