What You'll Do
- Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, IT teams, and program stakeholders
- Conduct design meetings and metadata modeling conversations
- Create slide decks for project review and status reporting
- Communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
- Summarize information for leadership and stakeholder reporting
- Analyze and interpret technical information, including regulations and policies
- Create process flows and data flow diagrams
- Design and implement data acquisition strategies and solutions
- Work independently and within cross-functional, collaborative teams
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Use limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with creativity and latitude
- Adapt to changes in situations or priorities and modify behavior accordingly
What You'll Need
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst (Technical)
- 8 years of experience with enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, working with data warehouse and data governance technologies
- Experience using Jira
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Texas Data Management Framework
Desired:
- Experience with Informatica Data Governance tools, including Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Data Quality
- 5 years of experience analyzing raw data using Excel or Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing data acquisition strategies and solutions
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
