Job Description
We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into high-quality functional designs, and drive process improvements. This position will be full-time, remote and is a contract position .
Due to our end client and project work, all candidates must be United States citizens.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop project specifications, business cases, cost analyses, and data source requirements
Translate business needs into clearly defined and documented high-quality requirements, functional designs, and system supplemental specifications for new applications or analyze change requests / enhancements in existing applications
Analyze data to identify business problems, trends, or opportunities for process improvements
Conduct testing and provide root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Verify that delivered application requirements meet customer needs based on specifications, ensuring minimal defects in both User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production environments
Identify, document, and escalate risks, defects, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in the resolution of risks, defects, and issues
For smaller projects or initiatives, manage project schedules and resource allocation, including matrix staff
What You'll Need
Required :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
3-5 years of recent experience as Business Analyst
Experience with testing tools and automated testing
Proficiency in SQL and DB2
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
Preferred :
Recent experience within an Agile environment
Recent working experience within the field of dental healthcare
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers / team members over the phone and in person
