What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a Trusted Advisor – Address labor relations and HR inquiries, ensuring clarity and compliance with policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements.
- Manage Union Relations – Serve as the first point of contact for union complaints and work toward positive resolutions.
- Interpret & Apply CBAs – Analyze and ensure adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) while supporting company objectives.
- Strategize for the Future – Contribute to long-term labor planning, negotiations, and policy development.
- Provide Data-Driven Insights – Compile reports and make informed recommendations that align with labor regulations and company goals.
- Support HR Compliance & Hiring – Assist in the hiring and termination of bargaining unit employees while maintaining affirmative action records.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve – Keep up to date with labor laws, EEO regulations, and HR best practices to ensure company-wide compliance.
- Be a Key Player in Negotiations – Participate in labor contract negotiations and help shape bargaining strategies.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education & Experience: Business Degree or equivalent experience.
- Labor & HR Expertise: Strong understanding of collective bargaining, labor relations, and employment laws.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Ability to manage workplace disputes and develop fair, effective solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze data and present findings.
