Safety Manager – Lead the Charge in Workplace Safety!

What You’ll Do:
- Develop & Implement Safety Programs – Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company objectives.
- Drive Employee Engagement in Safety – Lead and support safety committees, conduct audits, and oversee accident investigations.
- Proactively Reduce Workplace Hazards – Assess risks, develop solutions, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures.
- Be a Key Safety Leader – Partner with employees and leadership to create a safety-first culture.
- Emergency Response – Be available to respond to facility emergencies as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene or Safety Management preferred (or relevant experience).
- Industry Expertise: At least 5 years of safety leadership in an industrial or manufacturing setting (paper industry experience preferred).
- Certifications: 500/501 OSHA, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
