Role Description
Caine & Weiner is seeking a full-time, remote, results-driven and experienced Commercial Collections Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, CA . The Commercial Collections Manager will be responsible for managing their collections team, overseeing the collection process, developing strategies to improve collections efficiency, and resolving complex collection issues. This role will also involve monitoring accounts and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve collection targets. Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, and implement effective collection strategies, especially for mid to large balance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve collection goals and meet targeted liquidation rates for mid and large balance portfolios.
- Oversee the activities of the collections team, providing coaching on policies and procedures.
- Assist team members with challenging calls and guide them through difficult collection situations.
- Monitor performance metrics to ensure that the collections team is meeting or exceeding its targets.
- Provide leadership in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of the collections department.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies throughout the collections process.
- Play a key role in hiring and training new team members, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed.
- Use analytical skills to assess client performance, identify trends, and implement process enhancements to drive success.
- Foster a positive team environment while motivating and developing staff.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience managing a commercial collection agency.
- Solid experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) Commercial collections and knowledge of collection laws and procedures is required
- Solid experience managing and leading fully remote teams
- Ability to analyze data and create collection strategies
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing mid and large balance portfolios and achieving liquidation rate targets.
- Strong collection strategy skills, with the ability to handle both complex and routine collections.
- Analytical abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using it to analyze client data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and provide guidance to team members.
