Assistant Program Manager: Summary
As the Assistant program manager, you will oversee and enhance social service programs while supervising a dedicated team. This role requires strong management and program development skills, particularly in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. You will leverage your expertise in relationship management and administrative tasks to ensure effective service delivery. Additionally, your proficiency in budgeting and behavioral health will support the organization's mission to provide quality care and support to the community. Hours: Mon-frid 9AM-5PM
Assistant Program Manager: Qualifications
· A minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Program Manager.
· Ability to remain composed and levelheaded in difficult situations.
· Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive proprietary information with discretion.
· Ability to work in team and independently.
· Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
· Excellent ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
· Must be highly organized self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities at once
· Must have strong verbal, writing and communication skills
· Superior follow through skills, detail, and customer service oriented.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Superior judgment, professionalism, poise, ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and assertiveness.
Assistant Program Manager: Responsibilities
· The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in administration to provide support to the Director of CAJ by using interpersonal and organizational skills in a wide variety of complex and confidential duties.
· Develop relationship with internal staffs to facilitate meeting plannings and work schedules.
· Create and maintain comprehensive filing system to optimize business flow.
· Ensure deadline are met, questions are answered, and requests are addressed proactively and promptly.
· Independently evaluate and screen incoming calls for priority, resolution, routing, or response in the most professional manner.
