Cake Shop Cafe in Millbury, MA is looking for one barista to join our team. We are located on 22 A West St.
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team at our cozy bakery/café! If you love coffee, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare espresso and coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies
• Take and complete customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle cash and card transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Wash dishes, clean tables, sweep, and mop floors
• Restock supplies and assist with other café duties as needed
Schedule & Pay:
• Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• Availability: Must be available on weekends, plus 2-3 weekdays (total 30-38 hours per week)
• Pay: $10/hour tips (our baristas currently average over $20/hour with tips)
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required (we will train the right person!)
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Must be reliable and punctual
