Job Description
The Harvest Winemaking Intern will support the Cakebread Cellars team during the 2025 harvest season. Responsibilities include vineyard sampling, assessing incoming fruit quality, monitoring fermentations, and checking tanks for fermentation progress and temperature settings. The successful candidate will also assist with running lab analysis and cellar operations as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and be highly dependable. A college degree in Enology or a related science field or minimum three years equivalent work experience in wine production is required. Experience with Vintrace is helpful, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly is also necessary.
