POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing team in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and brand strategies. This role plays a key part in content creation, digital engagement, and marketing operations to enhance Cal-a-Vie Health Spas presence and brand awareness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Marketing & Campaign Execution:
Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns, special theme weeks, and events.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Graphic Designer to execute brand strategies.
Manage email campaigns from concept to deployment, including design, copywriting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Work with project management tools to organize marketing requests and meet deadlines.
Assist with photo and video shoots, and other marketing initiatives.
Social Media & Content Creation:
Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar that aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals.
Create and schedule engaging social media content across reels and stories.
Manage social media platforms using Sprout Social, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing feed.
Monitor and respond to engagement across social platforms, including personalized responses to comments and user-generated content.
Identify and engage with influencers and brand partners within the health and wellness space for collaborations.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Brand & Visual Identity:
Establish and maintain professional graphics and branding standards for Cal-a-Vies communications.
Demonstrates creativity and innovation in developing engaging marketing content and campaigns, with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand alignment.
Manage and maintain an organized image library, including tracking of photo and model releases.
Ensure quality control over printed materials, working with vendors and handling approvals.
Source and purchase marketing and graphic supplies as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging marketing and social media tools to keep campaigns fresh and relevant.
Conduct market research on competitors to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation, ensuring our brand stays ahead in the industry.
Assist the Director of Marketing as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: Preferred Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Knowledge: Mac and PC Knowledge. Understanding marketing to luxury clientele with ability to think innovatively. Advanced experience and knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of marketing, photography, videography and social media.
Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing and social media management, ideally within the luxury, wellness, or hospitality industries.
Skills/Abilities: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; Strong organizational skills, time management skills and detail oriented; Proficiency in Sprout Social or similar social media management tools and analytics, performance metrics; Strong copywriting, content creation, and visual storytelling abilities; Experience with video production and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software; Ability to deal with the public, and help with media events on and off property; Ability to write and correspond with guest(s); Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team; Proactive and adaptable, able to work independently; Ability to handle high stress in the work environment and turn it into positive energy in the department; Ability to react quickly to resolve problems or conflict.
Availability: Ability to work any day of the week, any shift, and long hours when necessary. This position is full-time on-site Monday-Friday.
